Besides our activities in the Brahman cattle breeding business, we at Finca "La Realidad" also produce a large number of Tamarind trees
(Tamarindus indica) whose fruits are harvested yearly for the production of Tamarind (Chutney), and later sold to the local market. We also harvest during the summer,
improved Swazzi & Alicia (Bermuda sp.) pasture, as well as, Swazzi & Alicia hay. We also grow sugar cane and Taiwan grass.
Additionally, to help the nature's reforestation, we plant
Teak Tectona grandis and develop, at a lower scale, a nursery of household (ornamental) plants,
such as orchids.
